C3R2 - Plaster Face Casting
Instructor: Jason Wang
In this one-day workshop, artist Jason Wang will demonstrate the process of using plaster to create a mold of one’s face as a methodology for ceramic sculpture making. Participants will partner up and help each other apply plaster to each other’s faces to make their molds. Jason will also demonstrate his process of using the press mold, altering the face cast, possible surface treatment, and display. One open studio is included in the tuition if you need extra time to finish your piece.
